I've decided to visit the nearby salt mine and so here I am 500 mtrs underground in a vast subterranean playground. I'd expected something of the history of salt mining in Transalvania, maybe with some exhibits, but no, this is where Romanians come to cool off. It's a novelty for them to escape the heat on the surface. They have come down here with picnics obviously equipped to spend the entire day, just like we might go to the beach. There are cafes and free WiFi which is what I am using now.
