The first hour was spent travelling across a flat plain, with fields of corn stretching into the distance. Occasionally the line passed an industrial area surrounded by those drab concrete blocks of flats. But then the ground began to rise and now the landscape is becoming hilly and much more wooded. From the window I've seen peasants loading hay onto horse drawn wagons and others using pitchforks to construct old style hay ricks. I wonder whether these people realise how lucky they are to live in such a blissful environment, working with their hands all day in the fresh outdoors.
